Islam is the universal religion for all time, all area, all kinds of the peoples. 

The nationality is based on various subject. Such — religion, language, region......... 

Otherwise, the basic faith of Islam is the universal, spiritual and mental subject for all time, all countries, all kinds of the people........... 

For the basic faith of Islam, Asia, Europe, Africa, north and South America, Antarctica........... All the human societies are equivalent. 

We know that, Niccolò Machiavelli founded modern regional nationalism. 

Machiavelli was an Italian Cristian philosopher.

This is why, some modern Muslim scholars think that, regional nationalism is an anti-religion ism. 

In fact, there is many support for regional nationalism in the Quran and Hadith. 

Though, there are many about regional nationalism in the modern Muslim scholars — but, regional nationality never anti-ism for the basic faith of Islam. 

When the British India was going to freedom from Britain — then, there were many differences about nationalism in the Muslim societies.

Some Muslim leaders supported regional nationality (Sayed Hussain Ahmad Madani........) as the indian peoples.

Otherwise, some Muslim peoples supported Muslim nationality (Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Sayed Abdul A'la Maududi......) as the Muslim community.

But, these all kinds of people were the Muslims.

ইসলাম ধর্ম সর্ব যুগের, সব অঞ্চলের সব মানুষের জন্যই প্রযোজ্য। 

আল্লাহ্ পাক সৃষ্টি করেছেন সব মানুষ, তেমনি তাঁদেরকে বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতি দিয়ে বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে পাঠিয়েছেন। 

তা সত্ত্বেও, ইসলামের মৌলিক আক্বিদা-বিশ্বাস পৃথিবীর সব মানুষের জন্য সমানভাবে প্রযোজ্য। 

কেননা, মৌলিক-বিশ্বাসের সম্পর্ক সরাসরি আল্লাহ্-র সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত এবং মন ও আত্মার উপর নির্ভরশীল। 

মধ্যযুগে ইটালির দার্শনিক নিকোলো মেকিয়েভ্যালি আঞ্চলিক জাতীয়তাবাদের প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। 

যার ভিত্তিতে আধুনিক যুগের রাজনীতিতে অনেক পরিবর্তন সংঘটিত হয়।

কিন্তু, নিকোলো মেকিয়েভ্যালি খ্রিষ্টান দার্শনিক হওয়ার কারণে, অনেকেই মনে করতেন যে, আঞ্চলিক জাতীয়তাবাদ ইসলাম বিরোধি একটা রাজনৈতিক মতবাদ। 

কিন্তু, ক্বোরান ও হাদিসে আঞ্চলিক জাতীয়তাবাদের প্রত্যক্ষ ও পরোক্ষ সমর্থন থাকার কারণে তাঁরা তাঁদের সেই ভুল ধারণা ত্যাগ করেন। 

*** ১৯৪৭ সালে বৃটিশ ভারত বিভক্ত হয় ব্যারিস্টার মোহাম্মাদ আলী জিন্নাহ্-র "দ্বি-জাতি তত্ত্ব"-র ভিত্তিতে। 

কিন্তু, মি. জিন্নাহ্-র এই রাজনৈতিক তত্ত্ব আল্লামা শিব্বির আহমদ উসমানি, আল্লামা জাফর আহমদ উসমানিসহ অনেক আলেম - উলামা দৃঢ়ভাবে সমর্থন করেন। 

আবার আঞ্চলিক জাতীয়তাবাদ নিয়ে সায়্যেদ হুসাইন আহমাদ মাদানি এবং সায়্যেদ আবুল আ'লা মওদুদি প্রচণ্ড দ্বন্দ্বে লিপ্ত হয়েছিলেন।
